In one word my headlights are BAD and I hate them. I might as well not even have any. Is there any other type of headlight/bulb I can get to improve the lighting?
Or maybe it's just eyes?

Two things to ask:
1) are they clean?
2) are they AIMED right? (check aiming on a wall with an allan key tool - check your manual)

Well I will clean them. And aimed right, not sure. I just assume when you buy a car they have them aimed correctly but I guess I shouldn't assume.
Thanks for the advice. Where should they aim for optimal performance?

well that's subjective, typically you have to aim them so that when you're on level ground at a certain distance away they fit an outline.
If you bing "how to aim headlights" you'll see some articles as to what I mean.
Try that first as those are FREE solutions, then we can talk about getting new headlighting.

Thank you! I will check google and then try it out in my underground parkade. Should be ok there.
Someone mentioned "superwhite" bulbs at Canadian Tire as well. I don't know anything about these.

stay away from super whites, they will just cut your visibility in half!
as much as i like hid, it's been raining a whole lot in toronto now and i can't see a damn thing when it rains or if it's foggy.
i want some halogen fogs!

A friend suggested Xenon but apparently it's somewhat illegal to add.

Explicitly illegal to add HID in BC:

Check with some of the local BC Honda forums. I heard rumor that some BC police forces are pretty strict about aftermarket HID (as in tag and tow)

I wish they would confiscate and crush all cars found with illegal lights.

How about those people who exceed speed limits? Because I'm sure both of you never break the speed limits, since that's also illegal ........ :cheesygri

Nope. I never break speed limits. In any case, it's easy to accidentally exceed the speed limit, you can be a smart and reasonable person and sometimes exceed the speed limit, so the punishment should be proportional.
Those illegal headlights didn't install themselves into your car by accident, did they? If it's made explicitly clear that you are not allowed to do it and you go out of your way to do it anyway, what explanation is there other than that you're a bona fide sociopath who should be locked up? I don't agree that possession of marijuana should be illegal, but if you walk into the police station with a joint in your mouth then I have no sympathy for you.
