Hey guys,
I'm going to get my Dad a Michael Jackson DVD. He loves DVD's of artists. Every Saturday morning he puts on one of his Musical DVD's and just sits in his chair watching the live performances, or music video's, or concerts.

He doesn't have a Michael Jackson DVD yet so I figured i'd get him one.
But, there are soo many.

I'm debating over;
1. Michael Jackson: History on Film - Volume 2
2. Jackson, Michael: Dangerous: Short Films

Do any of you have these DVD's or others that you think are good?
I heard the sound quality of "History on Film" isn't the greatest.
Any suggestions would help!

Thanks a lot !!!

Get him the movie free willy. Michael jackson wasn't in the movie but he sings the theme song, and it's a really touching movie.

They are both excellent. Dangerous The Short Films just has the videos and making of's for songs only on the Dangerous album. HIStory on film vol 2 only has videos from the HIStory album disc 2, it also features the Blood On The Dance Floor video, and his awesome MTV VMA performance. If you are looking for a concert, the only official one is Live in Bucharest: The Dangerous Tour. If you are wanting a mix of classic videos MJ Numbers Ones, or HIStory on Film Vol 1.

HiStory on Film 1 + 2. HMV has them both at 2 for $20. They sound okay to me (not crappy audio from old tapes), although his later DVD releases may have been remastered.

HIStory on Film is amazing...it has most of MJ's hit music videos plus highlights of some of his most memorable performances (MTV VMAs in 95, first Billie Jean performance). I hear there's also a new DVD that's going to be released, apparently it was a t.v. special that ran this year (not "This is It"). Can't remember what it's called but if it comes out on DVD maybe you should look into that too
