Varadero Tropical Storm

So weather reports are saying that Tropical Storm IDA will hit on about Monday... I will be there on Monday. Has anyone been through anythign like this before?? Should I prepare myself for a pretty rainy vacation :(?

even if nothing major happens you'll probalby get rain for a couple of days
after teh storm hits.

I went through this last year. I went to Cuba in mid november, right around the time that a big hurricane hit the island. It resulted in 1 day of really bad weather and 1 day of slightly crappy weather, although we were still out in the pool and the ocean.

The only concern we had is flights delays, but that didn't end up happening.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. The resorts are built well, they aren't going to blow away. You'll be safe from whatever mother nature throws at you.
