I plan on picking up the Belkin Mini surge protector which could help reduce clutter for cell phone and bluetooth accessory charger adaptors. Thanks!

Yup, good one. I bought 3 from Dell DOD recently around the same price IIRC.

Yes it was, I just never thought about buying it and charging things like cell phones, BT accessories and even my GPS with this. It was on sale last week from somewhere else for $14.99 but I know Dell will probably have it again on their DOD but now I don't have to wait :D

Yes, I charge my iPod and GPS using one of the USB outlets on this. I keep one of these units set up in a corner just for charging purposes. Very handy since it keeps cord clutter away from my computer work station's USB ports.

They are usually available at all locations depending if they have stock there or not.

Cash is king at Pmall  They accept debit and credit there and at all locations but expect a 2% extra charge on top of the price.

Debit is considered cash at CC. Only credit card doesn't get the "cash price".

CC's website will show you the cash and non-cash (ie. credit card) price when you click on the item. Sometimes they are the same price, so at least you can know before you go how much extra it'll cost you to use your CC. It might not cost you anything at all :!:

there is no 2% for debit, only 2% is added for all credit card transaction. Cash/Debit are fine.

Is it possible for the acer 24" to be used as a tv? Someone said said it was possible and that no extra connections was needed. Just hook up the components and it should work

Just went and picked up 2 of the surge protectors and one of the MS VX-5000. The webcams are color coded in that they have a green/blue/red ring on the outside edge of the webcam. The blue ones are the only ones on sale.

Personally I'd avoid using any form of debit/credit card at Pacific Mall.

Now CC has the lowest price. Considering to buy one more, but I really don't need any more...

Ithink the resolution is too high for a 23' monitor. It will make you uncomfortable.

And the response time of 5ms is too bad for gaming and watching movie. I'm now using Samsung T240HD, whose response time is also 5ms, I think if you game a lot, you should go to those 2ms ones.

I own a 2343BWX and the resolution is fine. In fact, it's one of the reasons I love it so much. It's excellent having the extra desktop space.

Response time isn't noticeable for me at all but maybe I don't have superhuman eyes that can pick it up.

CC had it for 189.99 about 5 weeks ago. NCIX has had it too at 189.99 like 6 out of the last 10 weeks. Find a week where there's a shipping promo and it'd be even better as there's no PST and enviro fee.

now that you remind me, looking back at the one i recv'd, i think Dell sent me some "OEM" one .... it was a white box w/ "Belkin" on it, and that's it; nothing like the ones you see retail

that's prbly 1 of the reasons why Dell can sell it for so cheap during DOTD... their cost is prbly <$10 if they're buying in bulk OEM products...

I really think that DELL did a bad thing since they didn't label it 'OEM' on their website.

I planned to buy it as an gift, however, when I saw the white box, I just threw it into the drawer...
