Seems like that BestBuy is really pushing hard on their gaming sales!

I know I'm changing my pre-order at EB.

Just ordered. Thanks for the deal.

I'm liking these discount release prices ($40 for Borderlands too). In total I'd spend more on $40-$50 games as opposed to $70 games.

49.99 sure beats 69.99, I wonder why they're pricing so aggressively, especially for a title that could sell well at "full" price, perhaps to take away business from EB, anyway the consumer benefits

I don't know about the extra $10 but CDN to US is pretty close to par. and Honestly, this xtra 10 is nothin compared to the deals US got earlier like buy 2 get 1 free.

there was an article not too long explaining why there's a lot of releases with cheaper pricing....it has to do with the recession or fragile economy we're in.

I'd love to read this article, it definately seems interesting that BestBuy, and Walmart have been able to do this.

Me too. My theory is that game publishers think they're recession-proof, but the bigger retailers are seeing a drop in sales and using their clout to demand price cuts.
