Please note the one on Costco's site is the non widescreen version.

$218 is as good a price as I've seen on this unit at any of the Canadian retailers.

On another note - Costco has all the 2X5W series GPS for $229 whidh is fantastic IMO.

Fail :) You really can't compare what you linked and what the OP is talking about.

I have the 265WT model and I would recommend it to anyone. I got it last month when Futureshop was selling it for $229.99 with a free case :)

Ditto...nice easy to use GPS. I have had mine since last Christmas. Something that I thought was just a nice to have, may use it once in a blue moon, but now I wouldn't go on a trip without it. So handy!

Don't worry, it's in their flyer. I saw it too and can confirm that it's on sale for that price.

Futureshop currently has the Garmin Nuvi 265W (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10130529&catid=25833) on for $199... which even presents an opportunity to PM at best buy to get it for $196. Pretty good deal if you're not looking for the traffic option (doesn't cover winnipeg so I'm not).

How does this compare to the TomTom GO 720 that Walmart had for $148 a month or so ago?

I bought the 265W during Dell deals, and definitely would pick up 265WT if I didn't have one. I don't use it often, but when I do, it's pretty good. No complaints.
