I'm guessing this is probably the best price this will be at for a long time? Nintendo first party games don't tend to go very low.

Thanks! :)
Should we start to complain now when it doesn't arrive fast enough? :D

I just hope people know that there is no shipping on week-ends so it will be impossible to get the game shipped out on the launch date.

maybe the wrong place to ask .... but how does this game compare to the first Mario for Wii?
that's the only game i ever bought for my Wii .... which has sat collecting dust pretty much since then
i liked the last game a lot

This is nothing like Mario Galaxy. It's a side-scroller like the old games (if you've played "New Super Mario" on the DS it's going to be a lot like that).
Mario Galaxy 2 is announced but nowhere near coming out.

Yeah those were the par days. They jacked up Mario Kart but that included a wheel, so I guess they could get away with it.
Too bad you can't use the Kellogg's coupon, unless they let you pre-order in store and pay off the whole amount later.

So tempted. But so many games coming out already. And no online multiplayer is a deal breaker for me. I'm sure the single player will be great, but Mario games tend to be short, and 50 bucks...
How many levels does this have? I can't find that info online. Super Mario World had 96 levels. If this game has close to that many I might be in. I don't want to spend 50 bucks on a game that only lasts 7-8 hours.

The nice part is just as you said though, they are Mario games. You buy it for $50 and once done, sell it for $50 on craigslist. I go on and see games like Galaxy and Mario Kart selling for $40 and they are a year+ old.

Agreed. I'll wait for a Rogers used-game sale before I pick this up I think.

Well I had this ordered with a $10 deposit at Wal-Mart, hopefully I can get a refund on that. Or at least get them to match.

well the canadian dollar has been hovering around 93-95 cents the last 2 months or so. So with the exchange rate, the game should be about $53 regular. $55 if they want to rip us off a little, $60 is . $60 for a game with last generation graphics is way too much.

Only 1 left at Future Shop... was thinking of getting it.
BUT I think I will get this game at Shopper's Drug Mart... buy it when it's 20X points promotion, or get the game FREE during the $50 bonus for $200 redemption.

That's probably a better idea for me, still got so many points at Shoppers which I don't really use. :D. On another note what i am really looking forward to right now is Super Mario Galaxy 2! That' looks muc more modern style and fun.

I just got the game today delivered from Dell! It's not even released yet. Dell has cheaper price, too ($53). Free delivery using Purolator express, got it in 2 days. Dell has outdone itself!
Before I tried EB game with 2 game trade-in offer, the guy didn't know about this offer then, so he didn't let me do it. And when he did know about it, the TIV has dropped way down forcing me to give up more valuable games. I said screw it, and ordered with Dell for $53.99.
Extreme fast delivery! It takes -4 days!
I suggest anyone who is looking to get this game, but missed the FS $10 off to order with Dell~ YMMV
