Hi, I just got a new puppy and was looking into puppy kindergarten. He's a 10 week old English bulldog. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for schools around the Toronto/Scarborough area. Also, the specific trainers name would be very helpful. I have these two in mind currently:

If anyone has any experience with the above schools (trainer's name) or any recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

I took my mini schnauzer when he was little to puppy people, and it was GREAT!
I had taken him to another place before, and I didnt like their methods.
The petopia location is great, its huge and gives them a chance to socialize without being trampled.
Good luck, and have lots of fun!

Awesome thanks. Did you attend any other course? Or just the puppy one?

good for you training your dog.
i hate those ppl who let their dogs walk them down the street an bark an are generally uncontrolled by their owners... i find this is mostly woman but i see some guys who are being led by their dogs, and it rreally bothers me.. its like the dog is smarter than its owner, and probably is lol!!
my advise: dont be afraid to hit your dog, i think this is why most ppls dogs are the boss. they are scared to stand up to their muts, just smack it once while its young.. make sure its immediatly after its done something bad (like peeing indoors or chewing something). from then on it will always respect you and know ur the boss. if you want to be all modern and take the soft approach, have fun spending hundreds of dollars so some dog whisperer can whisper secrets in your dogs ear or whatever they do..

Dont listen to this guy. Dont ever hit your dog. They are not as smart as humans, they wont understand why they are being hit. You can achieve much better results with getting the dog properly trained. I would search online for reviews regarding the trainers and i think its great your posting here. Sorry i could be more help but good luck with your new friend!

I'm female and my dog won't bark at you if he see you. He'll whimper as he loves anything that moves and wants to play with it but he's learning to tell which humans are dog haters like you and ignore them!

My god.....I hope you're not a dog owner as I feel bad for your dog. I call this abuse!

Timely post, I am attending the PuppyPeople Sunday puppy class 1 starting tomorrow...
I have a 11 week Rottweiler pup that needs a structured learning environment!
Having said this, the training is only as good as the effort that you put in with your puppy at home and in class...

Absolutely the worst training advice...I hope someone knocks the snot out of you when you misbehave or when you **** your pants...
