Does anyone use Shiretoko? Is there any difference from Firefox? Its supposed to be the 64-bit version of Firefox.

I recently just upgraded to 64-bit Windows 7 so I've been trying to look for all programs that take advantage of the 64-bit OS. Any recommendations on what to upgrade?

Shiretoko is still in early alpha development stage, intended for development feedback only. It is not intended for general users because it is a piece of crap at the moment.

As far as Firefox or any browser goes for that matter, if Flash means anything to you (Youtube, etc) stick to the 32 bit versions as there isn't a 64 bit version of Flash for Windows yet.

I been running firefox on x64 windows 7 for a while now and I had no problems with browsing. The flash works fine too.

I do get some problems with running old programs even when using compability to XP mode.

You are running the 32 bit version of firefox in windows 7. Not the 64 bit.

I use the 64 bit version in Linux 64 bit, and it's half decent. Of course, there is an alpha flash plug in and java plug in in Linux 64 that works. FOw windows stick to 32 bit. Even MS own IE 64 bit is a pain in the ass due to the lack of plug ins.
