I'm looking a switching to Telus to get a HTC hero but am rather deterred by their terribly priced plans. I'm trying to get the phone on a 3year plan for 100$ but the cheapest plan I can buy is 50$ and to get all the features I want I need to pitch out another 15$.
I'm a stuent and can't really afford an increase of 15$ on my monthly phone bill. Buying the phone straight up doesn't really help me either as I can't fork out that much money which is why I haven't already bought an unlocked version of it.
I tried calling Telus today to see if they could work something out for me but they just kept going over the rates listed on their website. I told them bell had made me an offer and asked if they could match it, but they said how similar their rates were, which they were not. If anyone has any tips on what I can say to get them to give me a better rate I'd really appriciate it.
