hi all, just looking for some advice (i don't expect anyone to plan a trip for me heh)
Basically, my GF and I are intending to go to vegas for a week (march 8 - 15 most likely) for the first time. What i'm wondering is, in general, can better deals be had by sourcing items individually (air, hotel, car rental) or by going for an air/hotel package?
My assumption is packages are the better value, but I'm guessing one would wait closer to the date/season to expect any real winners there (i'm not too concerned with discounted show tix and such being included, though meals or casino credits are certainly a nice touch).
This is likely spring break for some age groups, not sure if that would be a benefical factor or not for vegas packages?
i've read some threads, and seen some links like fatwallet.com which have great info, but still want to get your sage advice on what might be the best approach. For all i know, some hotels have first-timer incentives?
Thanks in advance for any insights. i hope this is an appropriate post for this forum!
