I am looking at purchasing Guitar Hero: Metallica for the PS3 but I would like to know if the game can be played without any of the instruments and just by using the regular wireless game controllers. (like GH: Legends of Rock)
If you own the game please let me know if you have tried it and know for sure.

For the Wii, GH: Metallica can be played with one guitar and not the rest of the instruments. I would guess that its the same for the other consoles.
