Canadian Direct Insurance - Any thoughts?

Hi guys,

Any thoughts on Canadian Direct Insurance for auto and home insurance? Our insurance is coming up for renewal and they are QUITE a bit cheaper than what we're paying at the moment. I spoke to some very friendly and helpful people when getting the quotes, but because they are so much cheaper I'm a little bit cautious.

Are their people out there who are with them and can comment on their experiences with CDI when making claims?

Sorry, I can't comment on how they handle claims as I didn't make any during the 1 year I was with them. I might have stayed with them longer if they didn't double my premiums when it came time to renew.
