Hi everyone...
I have civic99 with a bubbling rust under the paint on my rear
door. I believe it came from a paint crack less than an inch a year ago.
I forgot about it and now showing some bubbling under the paint (I believe its a rust)
right beside it.
I went to Honda dealer in Mississauga and they said to fis it and do a full paint for the door and cost me around $800 .
Anyone have any sugestion to do it cheaper :)?
I'm still wondering if someone can just fix the area that not biggier than 2"x2".
Thanks in advance...

Do it yourself. Since its a 1999 model, and its on the rear door, just get some very fine sandpaper and remove surface paint and rust, and then get the closest color match (using Tremclad which you can buy from any hardware store or Canadian Tire which has many colors to choose from) to cover this small 2"x2" area.

sand, prime, paint. you can get the paint for your car at canadian tire by looking up your cars colour code. if you want exact colour if colour has changed, you can buy custom spray can for about 20 dollars.
