We'll see how the bandwidth usage goes this time around. I might have to take the file down sooner (as the file will be larger), rather than keeping it up for an undetermined amount of time. I think it's fair that if you somehow miss the direct http download, you can resort to downloading via torrent since there will be many more seeds by then.

Either way, I can't wait for tomorrow afternoon. Just FYI though, the show will be starting an hour later.

staying patient for a 720p release.....i dont see the difference between the HDTV and PDTV copies, both have the same size, i guess their source was different

Well the PDTV is the same as has always been. The filesize is the same because of the scene conventions. However, no doubt, the HDTV source will look sharper.

And yes, once the 720p is out, will get that too.

I'm thinking it's a difference in the source. HDTV rip but still compressed and resized down to an SD Xvid file like we're used to seeing.

HDTV rip is worth it. Just finished watching it on the big screen and the colours and detail are awesome. No pixelation, unlike the anamorphic ws of past seasons.

OMG. I cant believe how much better it looks in 720p. Already looks good with the opening segment - Aston Martin DB-S, Ferrari California and the Lambo Gallardo around Europe.
