prelude: I still hate virgin mobile for jacking their rates on early adopters (i am with petro now)

as per their website

$50=

300anytime minutes
Unlimited 7pm-7am local calling
Unlimited anytime Canada Long Distance
Unlimited Text and Picture messaging
Caller ID

i guess the key here is to sign your phone up at a relatives house in another area code/ calling area so all your calls are long distance

Thoughts?

What? No. Unlimited Canadian Long Distance does not mean you get unlimited airtime.. it just means there is no extra charge for long distance. All calls, local or long distance still use up air time.

interesting statement.......

can anyone confirm what incidents said?

http://www.virginmobile.ca/vmc/en/plans/myplan.html?%20big_daddy=no-hidden-fees

I always thought "Unlimited Canadian Long Distance" meant Unlimited Canadian Long Distance?

Unlimited txting means just that, why would unlimited long distance be any different?

Logic? Why would they give you only 300 local minutes and 7-7 calling, but then go "hey, but call all over Canada any time you want!"?
