New Android phone from Rogers, apparently they are the first in the world to carry it.


At $49.99 on a 3 year contract its really tempting.

Does anybody know if I would be able to send/receive pop3 email on it? I was told you can't do that on the other LG 3G phones.

Android includes two e-mail clients, one for gmail and one for imap/pop3 accounts. You can actually use either one because you can setup a gmail account to retrieve mail from other accounts.

What is really amazing is how easy it is to setup and use!
Especially combined with wifi, it all happens in the background, automatically.

Furthermore, the synchronization with calendar, contacts, and mail (in the Google cloud) is simple to set up, easy to use (no effort required), and automatic.
