I know there has been a lot of these threads lately, but I'm looking for a new winter jacket. I'm looking for something kind of slim fitted (none of those huge jackets, I have on already lol), that pretty much looks good and will be warm enough to be outside for short periods of time.

4th looks good too without the fur.
but i don't think any of them look very warm. Maybe enough for a quick dash across the street but not warm enough to start a cold car.

The first and fourth don't seem to have much wool in them. Only the 5th one might be good.

Diesel has some nice jackets, but they're a bit on the pricey side

Looking for something locally really...preferably something I could get like this weekend, cause I need a jacket now. I've seen some I like, but am unable to find them in stores (seen people wearing them). Specifically, there are these thing black jackets I see many people wearning (specifically a lot of asian teens..but that's probably just coincidence at the mall I was at). lol its kind of hard to explain, but the jackets with the band at the bottom, zip-up, slim fitted (but enough for a sweater...nothing puffy though)...not sure what else to say, but yea someone might know what I'm saying?
Not really looking for a peacoat or dressy type jacket right now, I already have a pretty good looking one from HM.

Zara's coats look great, but when you actually feel and wear them in-store... many of them are much thinner than they actuallly look. (Yet they're sold as part of the store's winter collection) They're also less well-made on the inside (with regards to stitching and fabrics) relative to their exterior design.
As I mentioned in another thread... I have the Topman peacoat pictured..... it retails for 90GBP/200USD (got it for $70-ish on eBay with shipping from London UK) A similarly priced (90GBP/200USD) coat at Zara's does not have the same quality of stitching and fabric inside the coat.....

The only winter jacket you will ever need. It is so warm yet it is very fashionable.

Anyone know what I'm talking about in my other post? I've seen quite a few people wearing them, but can't seem to find any good ones in any stores....

Any suggestions are still appreciated...I'll see if canada goose really has anything I want, but I thought those were those big puffy jackets?

Canada goose jackets are kinda puffy I know I just bought one not to long ago. I don't really get why everyone is wearing CG's now it's not even that cold out LOL. Anyways have you ever considered leather jackets their are slim fitted ones and it can keep you warm for short stints you may need to layer up a bit though. For starters you can check out http://www.danier.com/store.cfm?&ckey=CA&lang=eng if leather isn't your thing wool coats make good fall/winter jackets.
