Bolt pattern is one part of the equation, offset and hub center diameter is another. not to be overlooked (size as well, but duh:D)

If you need to ask the question, it might be better (safer maybe) to ask a professional. B/C as Slashz28 says, the other factors he mentions are important as well. As is the tire size if you are going for a bigger wheel.

Things to consider when buying a wheel...
Bolt Pattern
Offset
Width
Centre Bore/Hub Size
Do a research on these on google and find out what they mean...
After that, go to www.tirerack.com, you will get a rough idea on the bolt pattern, offset, and width... (but not hub size)
However, most aftermarket wheels come with oversize hub, so all you need is a hub centric ring...
