I've shopped at both hockeymonkey.com and hockeygiant.com .

Just ship it to the US and pick it up across the border.

For a Canadian site: www.thehockeyshop.com but their prices won't be as competitive as the US sites

I've also used www.icehockeywarehouse.com, which is based in California.

Try hockeygiant.ca (www.hockeygiant.ca) or prohockeylife.com (http://www.prohockeylife.com). Both are based in Canada.

yeah that's what i wanted to do but i hate trying to sneak stuff back across the border especially if they'll just kill me in duty and taxes for cheap items

Don't sneak it.

I always declare my stuff. In the past 5 years, i've had to pay duty once just recently. Otherwise I only have to pay Gst+Pst, which you would've had to pay locally anyways. So what the problem?
