GM don't want to let go Opel, because it is one of the best car makers in the world.In fact, many of the GM cars have Opel design, for instance the Chevy Malibu. With the economic meltdown Opel got hit hard as anyone else, and GM wanted to get rid of it, but now as the things are getting better, they reconsidered their decisions. It would have been nice if we had Opel plants in Canada, but now that's past.
