no way to it being a movie? or no way that there's going to be a free screening? either way, believe it. And Directed by Wes Andersen. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Just decided to check it out a couple of times a day since I really want to see this movie. I believe they are ALL going up right now (as in as I type this) - I notice a few more US cities have been added in the last few minutes.

well spotted. Seems to always get refreshed around 4. I checked this morning and at lunch, and it was still NYC and LA.

If any kind soul would PM me when Washington DC comes on - would really appreciate it - want to surprise my grandson there!
Naturally, I will be watching too - but sometimes not as fast as some of you. TIA

A good way to stay on top of when tickets are being released is if you have access to your e-mail.
At the top of the post, go to "Thread Tools"->"Subscribe to Thread" and then choose Instant E-mail Notification. This means you will get an e-mail notifying you that someone has posted in this thread (sooner or later, one of the updates will be for a release of tickets). Then all you have to do is go back to the thread (after every e-mail) to make sure you keep getting the notifications.

yea, the other canadian cities must have done something to piss off fox searchlight. Only montreal and Toronto for the last 2, but really...the last 2 weren't that great.

If anything, they have been removing cities from the list. It's getting shorter every day now. Must be all the positive reviews its getting.

I think the only shows they have been removing are those that have already passed (ie. the showing in New York was on the 11th, and the showing in LA was on the 12th). I'm still holding out but I'm sure not betting the farm.

Release is very limited this weekend, so there is hope there will be a screening next week. I checked 4 theatres for this film in my area (STC, Fairview, FMP, & AMC KC) & nada.

It's only been released in LA and NYC today. The wide release is closer to the end of the month.

I'm pretty confident that we'll be getting the screening in Toronto at the very least. the Montreal screening isn't until the 23rd, and I've never seen the Toronto one go up any earlier than a week in advance of the screening, so there's still plenty of time.
As for other Canadian cities....well...I don't know about that.

I won a contest to see the movie next Monday at Varsity Toronto. so there's still a chance for them to add Toronto today or tomorrow.
