Time: 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Location: Innis Town Hall
Street: 2 Sussex Ave.
City/Town: Toronto, ON
Love him or hate him, we are having Tucker Max come to Innis for an advanced screening of the film based on his book, I HOPE THEY SERVE BEER IN HELL. This film has caused controversy and protest around North America for its 'Fratire', now you have a rare chance to personally vent your resentment and praise at the man who started it all. Sure to be a special screening, bring your questions and comments for him, I know you have many...!
In step with dude-philosophy, Tucker Max is the kind of character you almost don't want as your wingman. Dedicated to having a night out to town, Tucker sets up his soon-to-married bud on a ridiculous bachelor party that involves a south-of-the-border roadtrip, excessive consumption, strippers, jail-time and a propensity for immoral fun that balances somewhere between lust and bile! Through their morally-depraved roadtrip, Tucker must confront his bro-like ways and the needs of his friendship with his friend's wedding.
Filled with lessons in debauchery, misogyny, and dick-wagging; the aptly named "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell" should be an interesting and highly-entertaining companion to the (New York Times Bestseller list from 06-08!) book in realizing the hyper-masculine antics of the bro-dude.
Trailer below.
This screening is open to the general public. Invite anyone you would like. This film will be released in Toronto on Nov 13. Come see it before anyone else for bragging rights.
Seating is limited and not guaranteed. Passholders will be admitted first. Each pass admits two people. Non-passholders will have to wait in the rush line. Please arrive early.
We will let you know when we have received passes. Check back daily.
