Hey guys, i'm totally stoked about this game coming out...brings back old memories. Anyway, was at EB and they are going to give away a free 500 Points Card when you preorder the game.

So, i'll trade in 2 games and get it for $10 bucks, and also get free 500 Points!

I only use the Wii points to buy tracks for RB2 =)

most songs are like 200 points each, so I will get 2 free songs from that. not too bad of a bonus I guess.

Can someone clarify what's 500 Points Card? 500 Wii Points? I didn't think they sell Wii Point by 500...

500 wii points is equivalent to around $5. Most wiiware games retail for anywhere between 500-2000.

EB guy said that the Nintendo 500 Points card could be used for either Wii or DSi Ware. $10 bucks for the game and 500 points is still a good deal!

I PO the game, but no point card was given.

I am thinking about Wii point card too, would be nice to have that too, although I haven't DL anything from Nintendo.

FYI - Went to my local EB at Square 1, and picked up the Points Card (500). It can be used for both Wii and DSi Ware. Only thing is that it will not be live until Nov 15th, which is the launch date for Super Mario Bros.

Went to EB, they had the cards there for anyone who preordered, but wouldn't give them out until game release (Nov. 15th). Though, the guy said they were only for preorders, so anyone who had didn't have to worry about someone else getting it.

I just got the game today delivered from Dell! It's not even released yet. Dell has cheaper price, too ($53). Free delivery using Purolator express, got it in 2 days. Dell has outdone itself!

Picked up my son's pre-order today at the EB at Richmond Centre and they gave me the points card.

There's an error though when I try to redeem the points. I will need to call nintendo support sometimes later.

Didn't get the card when i did the PO but i got it today when i picked it up. They have a huge stack left too this morning so i suspect if you buy it now (metro EB), you will get a card too until they are all gone.

I haven't redeemed the bonus card so can't help you here. Fact is my Wii is not with me :lol: I guess I can redeem it for my DSi but there is hardly anything I wanted over there, and stupid Big N do not allow you to share the redeemed points between the 2 consoles...

I'm getting an error too. It can verify the card no problem, it comes up '500 point xard... want to redeem?' When I say OK it gives error 205838.

Well just an update for anybody who was in the same boat as me yesterday (card was recognized as 500 points, but had an error to redeem)... I tried it again today at about 9:30 PM (EST) and it worked no problems.
