yes, I'd like to know too. I'll pay more for a restaurant that will also allow me to wash their dishes afterwards after I'm done cooking my own food.

Try the one across from world bowl. On Leslie north of Highway 7. Should be two lights north on the north east corner.

that's a good place, food is pretty fresh, don't recall the english name, but in chinese it's call "kam tao"
you can try the one across at commerence gate, right beside the net cafe, don't remember the english name call. Beef is amazing there. (i am a beef lover)
another place you can try is the one beside korean BBQ at midland (which is there sister's store) service is amazing and the food is pretty good as well. Have some weird choice of food (pork intestine which i love )
and the last one i suggest is the one outside pmall. (it's where the td bank is) called the rolling pot if you would like your own boiling pot. service is alright......don't go there when it's busy, better to go there during the week days

+1 for Kam Toa from me
I prefer it over Rolling Pot (outside Pmall, where the TD is) and the other hotpot place whose restaurant name has a literal translation of "Small Fat Lamb".
Don't know about the other 2 that the poster above me talked about though.
But Kam Toa is good, food quality is good enough, lots of selection, lots of seating space, relatively comfortable atmosphere.

I recommend these:
-Kam Dao as mentioned across from World Bowl (They have very good soupbase here)
-Made in China Hotpot as mentioned at Midland and Finch
-100 Degrees Hotpot at Hwy 7 and Leslie
-Newer hotpot place at 16th Ave. and Warden (at Lockridge Dr.)

The one at Commerce is Dow's Noodles.
I used to go to "Kam Dao" all the time but now I go to 100ยบ hotpot on East Beaver Creek and Hwy7. It is still relatively new so the service is good and the place is (for now) very clean.

Are there any other hot pot establishments other than iCook, and Rolling Hot Pot where each customer has their own individual pot?

Agree with everyone above about Kam Tao, no. 1 to me.
However, stay away from the one next to Club 300 Bowling. They suck BIG Time.

I find that place to probably be the worst out of the other ones listed. Everything tastes sickly sweet regardless of soup you choose and I find the meats/food to be not as good as Dow's, Gum Dao, 100 degrees etc...
I think Dow's has probably best food in Markham/Rhill area but its really cramped there, so i usually goto 100degrees or Gum Dao

Please dont recommend this place in light of the other suggestions here. This place is for beginners in the hot pot world. Thats it.
