Hey guys,

Would have used the search function, but apparently the forums are being worked on and it has disappeared.

I am currently applying with the Canadian Forces to get an Engineering job. I am looking for which civie uni would be best if one wants to go Mech. Engineer?

Not looking to do Co-op as you can't anyways when the military is paying for your education (unless I'm totally wrong about this?).

Just got first semester marks, and am looking at an 89 average.

Ideas? Opinions?

Thanks

there is no "best"

McMaster, UofT, Queens...etc are all good

ask your friends see where they are going?

RMC (Royal Military College)? I have a son-law who received his mech eng from RMC and is currently working on his Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering. Seem like you can combine your interest in the military with studies at RMC. Check it out!

If you're going into Canadian forces then y not Royal Military Collage? Tutiton is cheap and you're given a job after graduation for sure.

Otherwise I think UofT/McMaster/UW are the best ones.

Well we get the choice of RMC, or Civilian University. Whichever one we choose, everything is payed for. No matter which one, you're still guaranteed a job with the forces after completion of your studies.
