This question is not just for the big digital sign at each stop with the "X mins before the next bus", but also what they have listed on their site. Reason I ask this is because I'm considering taking VIVA Green to Don Mills in the mornings and back during the evening. Quite chaotic at Don Mills Station/Fairview during those times.

No paper schedule is as accurate as the ones displayed at the stop. You have to take into consideration the possible factors for delay such as traffic, weather and volume of passengers.

However, that being said, Viva and YRT are generally very good at their times. TTC in York region however...

It's accurate because the buses have a radio transmitter.

the paper ones are as accurate as you'd expect (so not at all, very much based on traffic). but the digital ones at each stop are pretty good at most within 5mins of the actual time.

What I noticed some VIVA drivers do is purposely wait somewhere to make the bus 5 to 8 minutes late so they can take advantage of the green light priority system.

Some days a bus would come at say 2:50. The next it'd be 2:58. Varied everyday.
