Future Shop + Price Protection + Bonuses?

I just purchased a TV from Future Shop, and I was curious if anyone knows that if they offer any free bonuses like a blu-ray player or what not, would I be able to just go in and show my receipt and pick it up?

I know it says free bonuses and stuff are excluded in the policy, but I'm assuming they are referring to other dealers and not themselves as well?

Are you talking about random freebies? You should have asked when you were buying the TV. You're not going to get anything now.

if the bonus is advertised, then yes, since you could technically return and buy everything if you are in the 30 day period. To save you that hassle, its why they have price protection. I assume you are talking about the get a free S560 blu ray player promo with any sony over 40" right? It maybe a error, but it dosent look like they have put up any corrective notices yet.

Oh I wasn't referring to that item specifically, but that was the general situation I was talking about where I could get any free promotions attached with the purchase of a TV within the price protection time period heh, thanks!

BTW, since the price protection has been extended to Jan 3rd, would I still be able to pick up any free bonuses till then (other than on boxing day)? Or is it just for the 30 days?

Anyway if you are in the PP/return period then you should be able to get whatever new thing they include. If not then just return and rebuy.

I do advice that you do it ASAP. Once the current price/bonus is gone you can't PP it anymore, and who knows if they would change their policy again before Jan 3rd.

I noticed that too, I think it's because of the repairs or maintenance they are doing on the forums, at first I thought I made a double post heh
