I heard that the screen doesn't work when you have your gloves on. So what are you supposed to do in the winter? I don't want to have to take my gloves off each time I use the phone to text or answer a call.

Works with my gloves as well (fabric underlayer for snowboarding gloves). Generally it's so cold during winter I don't bother walking around texting or anything.. just run until you get inside and then go on and do whatever you need to do :)

Two gloves: Etry Touchy (http://www.iphoneincanada.ca/iphone-accessories/etre-touchy-gloves-for-the-iphone/) or Tavo Gloves (http://www.iphoneincanada.ca/iphone-news/using-your-iphone-in-arctic-weather/).

I found the Tavos hard to use...the Etry gloves were okay, but really you could just buy a pair of gloves from the dollar store and make your own!

That was the main question when i chose wich smartphone to buy. Finally i decided to take Omnia - you can call/pickup call with hardware keys, and if you need to text message... well, who types a message when it's so cold outside lol? :)

Use vlingo... voice recognition your contacts, no dialing.
For businesses, vlingo GOOG411, the google server does the rest.
You can also vlingo your searches on google.

For texting, you have to touch.
