hi, i have a canadian citizenship . i was thinking of driving down to seattle and take a flight to LA. do i need a passport for US domestic air travel? thanks

No. Your driver's license will be fine to get on the flight.

But to drive across the border, you'll need a passport or an enhanced driver's license that includes proof of citizenship. http://www.getyouhome.gov/html/lang_can/index.html

I believe certain Canadians (usually with dual citizenship with another country like Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.) have very certain requirements insofar as US domestic travel. We had a conversation about this a year or two ago in one of the other forums, and that, they must report their travel to the government.

But for a run-of-the-mill Canadian with European descent, and no ties to countries that have been demonized...

You are going to need your passport to get through the border when you are driving to Seattle anyway....
