Hello RFDers

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Looking for advice on this the "on the road price" I got for a 2009 Civic LX.

I have been offered a final cash price of 23600$ everything in, with no extras. I have been told this price is non negotiable but still think i can prob get 100-200$ off. He told me flat he couldnt do it for 23000$.

Is this a good price? Anyone think I should be asking for lower.

The biggest problem I have with the price is that he offered me 20800$ on the DXG, which is a price difference of 2800$. However the MSRP price on the website only list these as having a 1900$ difference in price. Therefore, I would think a fair price on the LX should be 1900$ more for 22700$

I appricate all feedback, thank you.

This is a week old thread but I'll reply anyways since I just bought one in Oct. :) I'm assuming you're talking about an automatic coupe as the sedan LX is known as a Sport now. I bought mine for $23,300 OTR /w protection package and 2 oil changes. I probably could have got another $100-$200 off but they were the only dealer near me that had the colour I wanted in stock. $23k without the extras is definitely doable. I believe the CCC price is $21,371. (before the discount) Honda also announced a $1000 price drop for the 2010s, so I'm not sure how that will affect the 09 pricing.

He's a Honda dealer in the GTA that loves to help RFD'ers with a quick sale!

GREAT post! I like the detail. My aunt finished up the lease on her Corolla, this may be a good car to migrate to and at that price, seems like a good deal. If there is an additional incentive towards the end of the month, seems like a great idea!
