Noticed Toyota was offering 0% finance for 36 months and a $750 rebate on the Corolla. I was wondering if I got a good deal.

2010 Toyota Corolla CE - Enhanced Convenience Package

Total price was $20,088 (includes all taxes and fees).

I got mine at 22K in May. So I say, you either got a good deal or a willing salesman cause the salesman wouldnt lower it for me. This was with me paying for it all at once, no financing.

Was it the same trim (CE - ECP)?

36 months? That's weak. Bump it up to 5 years if they want to move some dead weight.

Can I price match this with my 2009? ;)

Remember dan35 is in Alberta which does not have a PST so the price difference is much closer than it appears.

Thats a good deal. I don't see how you could've done any better on the overall price. My fiance is a salesperson at a Toyota dealership in Ontario and I know what she makes off Corolla sales. You did well rest assured.

The MSRP on that vehicle (CE- ECP) is $19300 before taxes/freight/etc.

Did you check CarCostCanada price? $750 off MRSP usually is NOT hot but a rip off price. CCC should give you all financial terms as well.

K same, well I guess you got a decent deal. But you don't pay PST so that might of made a difference.

No, I didnt check CCC. I kind of realized invoice price is useless because the invoice is roughly $1000 less than MSRP. And I got over 2k in discounts.

That was a very good deal.

We just bought the same model (for my son) here in Calgary for $20,107.50, out the door price.

That price is definitely much cheaper than in Toronto/Markham/Richmond Hill area. I was given a much higher quote by different dealers in the region. I couldn't remember the exact figures now because I ended up buying Toyota Matrix.

A couple thousand more.

Seriously, if you want to check MSRP, go to Toyota.ca and find out yourself.

Honestly if this is an Automatic you probably got a better deal then OP because when you finance you pay more in the long run.

How do you pay more in the long run? OP is saying 0% finance at the price he got.

Wait but I thought even at 0% financing there are hidden fees that bring the car above the cash price, that is why dealers also want to finance your car at a lower price instead of paying cash upfront. At least that is how I am thinking.

I mean why would a dealer offer a lower price if financing at 0% doesn't make them more money. Also why wouldn't I finance if its cheaper, I was always told paying cash was the better deal even at 0%.

Maybe I am screwed up and being half asleep makes me more confused :(
