say you live in a apartment or master bedroom how in the world can a box say the size of a shoebox or bigger be delivered to your door safely? someone can simply steal it without you knowing.

cant you just pick up your package from a shipping centre

Maybe OP is renting a room in a house with other renters, and wants to know if a package can make it...to...his..rent..ed...room?

...yes, this is more confusing than I thought.

master bedroom = bachelor apartment maybe?

Just assume the OP is asking about mail going to an apartment building. :|

Oy! Sounds like one of clownbaby's threads. Renting some guys living room and a whole long history of "renting" threads...

*doorbells rings* Hello My Postman.
Excuse me, I must enter your home and deliver this shoebox size package to the master bedroom.
Huh?????
Well it's addressed to the master bedroom so I must deliver it there, move aside and don't obstruct official gov't business son!
Walks in house, finds master bedroom and leaves package outside of door without knocking, turns around and leaves...

LMAO! Welcome Back Clownbaby! :cheesygri

It depends. Generally if you are not there they leave a note telling you where to pick it up(post office, distribution center, w/e).

In some apartment buildings, there is a concierge who can hold packages for you. If you just have a room rented out in a house/apartment, it will be delivered to the front door of your apartment/house. They wont come into your unit. Hopefully you can trust your room mates enough to hold the package for you, or just be home when it's delivered.

In a condo
bigger packaged are left with the security guard @ your condo front desk
they will leave a note on your mail box saying there is a package for you .

Have the shipper build a rocket. Set the trajectory to your window and viola! No one will be able to steal it because it goes straight to your room. You may want to invest in stealth technology so your package doesn't get intercepted by enemies.

Note: May not work so well in dense areas with lots of tall buildings.

Two days later. New thread on RFD..

"I recently ordered a shoebox (yes, just a shoebox) from ebay, and addressed it to be shipped to my master bedroom. This morning at work I checked the package status and online tracking package status says shipped. I went home during my lunch break and to my disappointment the package was not in front of my door. I suspect one of my housemates took it, but I'm shy, insecure, have no confidence, and don't like to approach people.. what should I do? I suppose I could order another shoebox just to avoid the confrontation, but how can I get it shipped right to my bedroom.. like, inside?"

Wow. Hrm, you guys can't make out whats he's asking? Really? o.O

Condo: They usually just leave the package at the security desk.
Apartments: They leave it at a pick up spot (such as shoppers drugs mart postal desk etc) or if the value is really low they just leave at the door (happens a lot if the postal guy is lazy)

I understand the part about the package reaching his home. I think the confusing part was why it had to be delivered to his bedroom door.
