I am trying to find a specific lightbulb for my pot lights. I need an MR16 bulb with a E26 base. 120v 50W.

I checked home depot and Canadian tire but all the MR16 bulbs they sell are GU10 base. This is the bulb I need.

Anybody know of any local stores in Markham or Richmond Hill that might sell something like this at a reasonable price??

Dude, you can get pot lights in any head shop. Try Vancouver.

My bathroom shower light uses that type of bulb... I bought a replacement a year ago, didn't find any in Canadian Tire, but I did find it in Home Depot (you won't see it on their website), at Woodbine/Hwy7, they had a whole box of it, I think it was $8...

Are we to read this as Pot Light Bulb or Pot Light Bulb, either way I'll interpret it the same way... um, check a head shop i guess

I changed the title to "Bulb for potlight". Does that make more sense?

Yeah my basement has these crappy ones as well - HD or Rona has them....more expensive than MR16s as I recall.
How hard is it to change the socket in a potlight - how does one get the housing out of the ceiling?
