We have recently moved and are looking for a referral of a WETT certified person to inpect our fireplace insert and the chimney. We are located in Thornhill. Anyone had great a experience with someone in our area?

Sorry to bring this back, but I was hoping that someone could refer us to a good certified inspector. Surely this weather :( will trigger your memory about having your fireplace and chimney inspected.

Try asking your realtor for a local referral. Although it doesn't appear to have happened in your case, I thought getting a WETT certificate (for the incoming buyer) was now required when selling a home with a chimney.
