Amazon.ca: New Home & Garden Store

It looks like Amazon.ca (http://www.amazon.ca/b/ref=topnav_storetab_k?ie=UTF8&node=2206275011) is slowly expanding. First, they added an Electronics section and now a Home & Garden section. The Home & Garden categories include:

Kitchen & Dining
Furniture & Decor
Bedding & Bath
Home Appliances
Patio, Lawn & Garden

The selection is limited but it is a move in the right direction. Perhaps some day Canada will catch up to the US with online shopping (I wish).

I'm pretty disgusted with the launch of this new .ca store. Just look at the prices...

One item I picked out of the blue-
Amco digital timer on the .ca store $21.50
same item on the .com site $14.95

Yahoo convert at todays rate $14.95US=$16.08Cnd

pfffttttt...this new site doesn't merit a bookmark IMHO.

ya, SO not impressed with amazon these days. on .com, the new g.i. joe blu ray coming out tomorrow is $19.99, on .ca, it's $29.99...WTF?!!!!

i was all excited until i saw the prices. Wow these things are expensive, 30$ for a post it holder?!
