HI!

I bought a house and plan to move in by late August 2010.

My question is, pricing wise, would it be wise to buy LCD TV on boxing day or wait till next summer . You know electronics price decreases so fast.....

Thanks

The longer you wait you will get a better price and a better tv.

I would wait.. 6 months is a long time in terms of technology and price drops. And would it be 8 months if you're closing in late August?

yeah 6 months is a long time for electronics. You'll see some good deals during boxing week but the prices in half a year will match or even beat that.

I purchased a tv in the Christmas season couple years ago and found the price dropped after Christmas and dropped even more after the new year.

I bought one in March at Audio Video 2001
they had it on the floor
got $100 off
looked around, was best price for me
I got a Panasonic 32" LCD TV-1080p for $599.99 there:)
