Anyone know where is the cheapest place I can get my name and number crested on a Montreal Canadians jersey? I will be using it for practice only so it doesn't have to be authentic as long as it looks real.

I'm also looking for a vintage 1960 jersey.

How hard is it to sew or glue on myself? If so, where do I get the materials?

Go to your local sport jersey store, they will be able to get whatever name and number you want done. I would not do it yourself, even if you were able to go out and buy the tackle twill.

No way it costs only $40. Generally, the store will charge $60 to $80, depending on the team. Remember, almost all of these places out-source this so they charge like $10 on top of what they get charged. It's not cheap.

Could I just get the material and stitch it in myself?

unless you really can't afford it and you know what you're doing, i wouldn't. personally if i'm going to have something like that done i'd get it done professionally unless i knew how to do it myself.
