atleast you got named brand stuff... i remember one house when i use to go do this like 13-15 years ago... they use to always give us like no name orange / grape / rootbeer pop lol....

and i use to always get the seaweed packs.. yuck... and i stopped going after 1998... before the huge asian invasion of markham... so they still gave them out...

i remember this one street (a small court) use to give out the best stuff... we use to raid it like 3-4 times in the night because like 4-5 of the houses gave out like full sized chocolate bars and big bags of chips and real cans of pop! lol

I think you might be talking about my street? Probably not but I also live in Markham.. I do remember some houses on my street giving out cans of coke, bags of chips, and full-sized chocolate bars though. Sadly, most of those people have moved away. Only about 5-6 houses had their lights on tonight. A lot of kids didn't even bother coming. :(

Trojan XL...

Nah I didn't go trick or treating. I was stuck at pacific mall because some ******** father decided to ram right into the back of my friends car when she was backing out of the parking lot... He literally tried to speed and quickly squeeze himself into the gap but he couldn't so he destroyed the rear bumper. He tried to flee the scene but there was another car behind him that helped us block him off until cops arrived.. Never pmall again.. People cant drive for squat there....

My kids got a freezie! It had been frozen because all candy around it was wet on the wrappers but by the time I got to finding that fraking freezie it wasn't frozen anymore. Do people actually think when they put in things like that?

I've given out pop to the older kids for years now, the vast majority think it's great!

Even no name pop is fine, orange, cream soda, root beer, and grape all pretty much taste the same anyways.

When I went out as a kid, the weirdest thing we ever got was pop or an apple. The rest was always candy. We always hated when people gave out pop because it would weigh the bag down. My mom would always throw out the apples too, because of all of the razor blade in the apples stories that were circulating.
