Planning family trip to NYC in November. Wife and 2 kids. Anything I read on priceline only guarantees double occupancy. I obviously need at least 2 double beds. Is anyone aware of any similar websites where you can ensure room accommodations for families?

depends, I have used priceline about 30-40 times, I'd say 80% of them actually had 2 double beds. But for cities like NYC, it will be hit or miss, you probably wont be getting 2 beds in hotels in Manhattan. Maybe consider staying in Jersey or Queens and head over through train/subway.

It's unlikely that you'll get 2 double beds in a Manhattan hotel if you go through priceline.

Hotwire allows you to book for families. It allows you to enter number of children

I don't think any travel guru would take a cheap Asian bus tour. My friends experience on one of these was that the bus driver got lost and they were stuck at the border for 4 hours each way because of Asians that did not have proper paperwork. Dinner was typically 9-10pm because the bus driver was running late or was lost.
No thanks, I'll stick with Priceline
