*** Possible MINOR spoilers below if you haven't played UC2 ***

I just finished Uncharted 2. Of course I was impressed by graphics and audio. All were up to par of the first, if not better...

I'm just not so sure about the story and the length. I found the game even shorter than the first one - which took me about 10-12 hours. And the story, while pretty interesting, lacked a lot of "surprise". Every time something collapsed, there was always an arm to grab you. I think the game could have embellished a little more on the monsters and made it more of a horror twist like the monsters in the first one.

I was startled, when playing in the dark on a 5.1 HD and the monsters came out in UC2. But in UC1, the monsters were so frightening, my heart was pounding and I had to turn the lights on! UC2 could have delved a little deeper into it, made the story longer and threw in another twist. The puzzles
weren't nearly as hard either.

I would definitely give UC2 a very positive review, and recommend it to anyone-- but I don't think it's worth any review better than the first one. Did anyone finish the game wanting "just a bit more" or is it just me?

I found this one way better then the first Uncharted. The first one wasn't paced anywhere near as well as this one. I was waiting for Uncharted to end while 2 seemed to end at exactly the right time. Uncharted 2 has your playtime listed under Bonus or Options or something. Mine says 10:15.

Also, the monsters were the worst part of Uncharted so I'm glad they didn't go for that crap again. They weren't anywhere near scary imo and this is not a horror game. It's an Action-Adventure game. Graphics were far better than the original by the way. Uncharted looked good, but that's it. Nothing stunning. Some of the shots in Uncharted 2 were amazing. Especially with the draw distance from higher vantage points. Beautiful.

+1...except i see u playing every damn game possible! ur worse than me!

im still stuck on slowly playing through wwe lol..

btw my thought are that this one was the same length or a little longer.. dunno how ppl think the first is longer.. first could only be considered longer if u died a lot of times in that chapater 13 i think.. the sanctuary, which was hard and took time..

but for me.. the wow factor was a lot more in this game...and the fact that there were no real monsters was better... the first one put the twist and i was like.. hrm ok... i didnt think it was gonna have monsters/zombies as this isint a resident evil game..so i felt they were kind of out of place.. this one made more sense as it was just scarecrows as they call it...

seriously tho the train levels and the one where u jump back and forth from car to car was simple amazing in this game!

I don't have money for it and to rent it would cost like 10 bucks.

I still think the Uncharted series is the best thing on the PS3, period. I'm playing GOW3 demo right now, and that's also very impressive

I like Uncharted 2 much better than the first

better graphics
better gun play controls
better ragdoll physics
more interesting storyline and characters

the only negative was the sticky wall to wall movement controls, I couldn't get Drake to move where I wanted him sometimes and it resulted in me dieing bunch because of that

There's a stage where you get stranded in this Train bus and people coming from 3 sides shooting at you and you have to duck and weave and sometimes i'd let go of the wall and stand up to my death or jump across where I didn't want to go

I say its pretty much better in every aspect just that the multi-player reminds me of killzone 2 a little too much. Everyone games there's at least a few people with rockets launchers or for U2 case is grenade launchers. One hit your stunned and they enemy can easily just shoot you once and your down ><

ahh but MP was just added for a little more play value. It's really all about the single player.

don't fk with unchartedSimmer down, simmer down... This is exactly what I was afraid of.

I make no contest that its graphics and sound and gameplay are amazing. Even better than the first.

The story, too, is excellent.

I just think they could have done a little more with it and made it longer. Every time you thought it might end, it didn't, but then when the end was coming, it was really obvious. A more suspenseful ending would have been good, perhaps something that would have taken you out of the Tibetan mountains and back to civilization.
