Hey guys,
I'm looking to mass produce this (or something similar) iphone case item and was wondering if you guys would pay for something like this. Also, what price do you think I should set it at? A lot of good cases cost $30 and up, and I was thinking the same for this. Let me know, thanks a lot!

Embarrassing, if you ask me...
Sure it may be nice for some geek who wears stupid shirts that say things like 'All your base belong to us' and what-not...but for the majority of people, or the other 99.99999% of sane people...it's not doing it for us.

Only a Xbox lover and owner of an iPhone/iPod would buy it, it has cute factor... and even at that, they would have to forgo practicality, many people buy cases for protection and function. It's made of felt, will stain, you have to pull the phone out to use it, it has no belt clip, and with the keychain attached it has to be carried in a large pocket or bag/purse.
Besides, you're facing a competition of millions of cases under $5 on eBay, cheaply manufactured in China. At over $30, people are looking for premium cases made with quality materials. Made of felt, this would attract a very niche market.
I'm not trying to be harsh, just my honest opinion having looked at hundreds of iPhone cases/protection from Zagg, hard clear plastic, silicone, coloured plastic, backings, leather, flips, Griffins, Otterboxes, designers... from 80c to $200.
Do a youtube search of "best iPhone case" and you'll see what works and people explaining why.
I also see this case on several google links... did you buy it and you're asking our opinion or are you the actual entrepreneur? Sorry had to ask, because if you are the creator, you're viral marketing is off to a good start, good luck :)

Thanks for the input. No, I didn't create it. I got it from the original creator, and thought it was a very nice product that could have been better for the same reasons you guys indicated. If I can come up with a similar product that addresses some of the concerns, such as how to carry it, etc. I was just wondering if there was a market for it, that's all. I guess based on the feedback maybe I shouldn't invest any time/money in this business attempt...lol. Thanks.
