I ordered something on Future Shop online 3 weeks ago and put in a credit card and a gift card, however only the credit card was charged (even checked my credit card account and full amount charged) and the gift card still has its full balance.
This is annoying for a number of reasons. I did not anticipate the full amount being charged to my credit card (have to plan monthly costs etc) and I also did not want to be stuck with the gift card either.
It has been 3 weeks now and nothing has happened (called again today). I don't see why they can't credit my card the amount of the gift card or tell me to go into a Future Shop and trade the gift card straight up for cash.
Technically they overcharged my credit card and I'm not pleased about it. I wonder if my credit card company can do anything about it?
