Hi Everyone!

My wife has had this craving lately for Nestle Nutchos. For the life of me, I have not been able to find them.

I've checked the usual suspects (Wal-Mart, Shoppers Drug Mart, Costco, etc.)

I have e-mailed Nestle and recieved a canned response that says "stores must often make difficult choices about which products to carry."

Has anyone seen them this year?

Thanks!:)

I know someone very well who is fairly high up at Nestle. I'll ask and find out. Kinda curious myself, as I loved these a kid also.

These are my brothers favorite chocolates and the only time I see them is close to Christmas in Wal-Mart and sometimes Shoppers.

So the response I got back, is that they should be in SDM and Wal-Mart after Halloween (for the xmas season). Although Nestle would love to produce them all year round, their biggest clients (WM and SDM and a few others) have expressed interest in them only seasonally. After Eight, Turtles are among the few boxed chocs in this category that Nestle has year round demand for.

Hope that helps, at least your timing is good, stock up after xmas :)

this has been an annual thread where some RFD'rs want nutchos but can't find them.

best that you guys stock up for the year when this comes out for the xmas season so y'all be happy year round.

Ya, these are Christmas items. Not enough demand or shelf space for these for the rest of the year.

Thank you to everyone who responded to this. I appreciate the time that was put into this.

As soon as I find them, I will indeed stock up to last me until the next season.

I too have noticed this being a seasonal thing for people (my wife included).

Again, thanks to all!

i got them at walmart last year - they are not the same they used to be - they are mostly crispy rice now - crap

they used to be amazing but nestle cheaped out and changed them they have barely any nuts now and they have changed the packaging and size

not impressed

but I found them at walmart - in the christmas candy section - its a small box now for under $3 - the old ones were in a bigger box and usually around $6 cause they were much better!!! and worth the price

I was going to post the same thing. We used to buy boxes of these at Christmas every year, for my parents, for visiting and a couple for us.

However, after they changed the recipe they lost our holiday money. Who gives rice krispie chocolate as a gift to anyone except perhaps a Mr. Munchy to a not-too-well-liked cousin at easter?
