Hey guys, I'm very behind in the movie scene and don't know where to start, so I was wondering if we could make a list of our all time favorite movies.
Here's mine
1) Austin powers (series)
2) Kung fu hustle
3) New police story
4) Slum dog millionaire
I've got more but can't remember them all right now

Starting this thread with Austin Powers pretty much invalidates the whole exercise.
Fun? Sure.
Epic? Not even a little bit.

Way to contribute by doing nothing other than hacking on some elses choices lol. I think epic is probably the wrong word though here i agree. Prehaps an edit to all time favorite movies or rewatchable movies or something like that.

Way to contribute by doing nothing more than hacking on someone else's hacking. :)
Oh damn, you did put in Transformers.
OK, I'll throw in:
Ran
Lawrence of Arabia
Ben Hur
Spartacus
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
LOTR.
Many more, these are the first that come to mind when I think "epic".

I love Mafia/ Mob movies.....but Scarface for me was pretty weak.
Surprised no one's mentioned Shawshank Redemption. Along with a handful of movies, Shawshank is always watched to the end if I happen across it.
