Hello all,

I completed a phone survey (I was bored) with a company called TVS Canada last August.

Now, they've contacted me, telling me myself and my fiancee have been offered a trip to Las Vegas for 3 days and 2 nights. All we will have to pay is the Airport Taxes.

I was told that in order to receive the gifts, we will have to attend a luncheon together. It has been explained to me that the company is able to pay for their gifts through advertising and word of mouth.

Now, not that I'm advertising for them, but a free trip seems really appealing. They have assured me over the phone that there is no catch, I just have to attend the luncheon. Is that at all possible? Has anyone experienced a similar occurrence before?

I'm quite reluctant to continue through with the process. Thanks.

I was contacted too and same old story. They do say no catch and I kept insisting "what is the catch". Nothing is for free and then was told that they try and sell you vacation packages. So, you pay an annual fee and can go to a few spots. I didnt go as I heard they are pretty expensive. Totally upto you...you might get a free vacation or at worst a free lunch but you can bet that they will really try and pressure you. Hope this helps.
