I am an executive of a student association.

We are looking to throw in a few freebies when someone purchases a membership.

Currently, besides free access to our our events, each member gets
- a tote bag
- a few coupons to local fast food stores
- a schedule of our events

We want to create more value for our members. Do you have any ideas of other free/cheap things we can throw in?

Thank you

Junk like water bottles and bags aren't typically really appreciated (relative to the high cost of acquiring these). Use the money on strong programming and let word of mouth grow the organization.

Are you a faculty association, or like a school wide thing?

I agree with the previous poster that the best thing you can do is provide really worthwhile events, activities, w/e, not a bunch of free junk.

A well designed t-shirt of the club/association will sell memberships, IMO. Perhaps add some membership cards that are credit card size.
