I've come down to these three schools (and york BAS as a backup) that i think i may apply to for business (likely majoring in accounting). My only concerns are whether or not I'll find a good job in my field after graduation and distance (im in mississauga). In your which school do you think is best?

I was in the same boat as you, here's my story:
basically my choices were Waterloo (AFM-PA), McMaster, Utm and Ryerson.
Waterloo AFM-PA, wrote the AFMAA, but my english mark was below 75 at midterm (end up getting an 80), so denied.
McMaster- was 1 percent below there cut-off at Midterm, and ended up about 3 percent at finals, all the business spots were taken, so didnt get in. Probably need to reside there, or take the GO.
UTM- didnt want to go, heard a lot of bad stories, nearby, many of friends go there, tell me they get screwed over, and most of them havent gotten into there major. You get a Mississauga Bus Transit Pass, which will allow you to take the Mississauga transit to and from UTM.
Ryerson- Near downtown (Big 4 and other financial institutions), improving their circullum, making it harder to get in, and my sister went there. Traveling to Ryerson's is quite difficult, depending on your exact location, if you near a GO Station, that would be your best option to Union Station and walk the rest. Or take a bus from Square One to Islingaton Station, and subway to Dundas Station.
Finding a Job is all upon you, the schools have different reputations, but the education will basically be the same, no matter where you go. You need to work your ass off, if you want a job in Accounting, and that's the same for every University you go to.
Where exactly in Mississauga, are you?

Take Mcmaster, probably your best choice out of those three.
You don't want to go back to high school, so don't pick UTM.
Ryerson is just a knock off of UofT.
Mcmaster, even if you don't want to live on res, you can take the go, i have friends that have commuted all 4 years, and don't really have trouble. First year will be alittle tough, but you get use to it, plus alot of kids commute from those areas.
About the job, well yea that will depend completely on you. This is just a bachelors degree, they will all teach you the same basic stuff. Point is to get involved and make connections with those who might help you and have more knowledge of what you want to know.
I go to Mac, and out of those three schools, Mac by far has the best campus life. I recommend living on res, for at least the first year, thats when you meet the most people make friends and learn to live on your own.

I'm actually a 3rd year student in the B. Comm program at McMaster. It's not bad to commute if you live in Mississauga by taking the GO bus. The stops are right on campus and the buses come really frequently.
As for the program, I wouldn't say it's that math intensive. We're only required to take calculus in first year. After first year, you are required to take a level II stats course, as well as 2 third year stats course. Of course, most business courses require that you know how to do simple calculations (ex. Accounting, Finance).
Out of the 3 years I've been here, I would say second year is the toughest to get through. First year was almost non-commerce related. Second year requires a lot of effort and you better get on top of your schedule. I did poorly in second year compared to first year mainly because I couldn't manage my time properly. The commerce program here is known to set midterm schedules on Friday nights and Saturday mornings/afternoons. I remember in second year I had 3 consecutive weeks of midterms on a Friday night and Saturday morning back to back, so that was pretty tough.
If you do well in this program, I would say the chances of getting a good job is not bad at all. A lot of business students will be doing their CA/CMA designation after graduation. In addition, there is an internship opportunity available to commerce students upon successfully completing level III commerce. A lot of the students coming back from internship are guaranteed a job right after graduation. Also, I think it still applies now... Students who graduate from the B. Comm program can finish their MBA at McMaster in 8 months as opposed to 2 years. So this is pretty useful if you are planning to get an MBA.
The drawback may be that there is no majors in the program. You can only 'concentrate' in a specific field, but it will not be listed on your diploma. However, there are a lot of accounting, HR, marketing courses that can be used for professional designations.
Hope this helps!
Let me know if you have other questions.

You should go to UTM if you're willing to work your ass off. I also know many people that got admitted to B.comm at utm and ended up graduating with a BA because they didnt satisfy the tough gpa standards. dont go to mac for business. and Ryerson is more of an engineering and journalism skool, but you will graduate with a bcomm without putting in half am much effort as in uoft + you can prolly get good internships since ted rogers is right on bay street.

I always thought that the top five were Ivey, Queens, Schulich, Sauder, and Rotman (not necessarily in that order).
And I'm not sure what a previous commenter means by saying a Ryerson B.Comm isn't even half as difficult as getting a UofT Mississauga degree. That's total nonsense. First of all, UTM is generally third out of the U of T schools and even then the disparity amongst business schools in terms of what you are taught is not that great at all. The biggest and probably the only important difference is the school's connections to the workforce.
I'm a second year Ryerson student and I found a relevant job so obviously I'm going to say I'm very happy with my choice but that's the problem with questions like these. Most people have only attended one (if any) of the schools listed and guess about what the other schools are like based on the broken telephone of messages they've heard/read about the school.
But from what I've seen it really doesn't matter much at all where you pick for your undergrad.
