RFD Clan for Modern Warfare 2

Hey, not sure if this has been brought up before, but I am wondering if anyone is interested or has already started a clan for Modern Warfare.

Right now I am looking for a decent clan, and we all know how much some of us love CoD. So if anyone is interested just reply to this thread with your PSN and hopefully we can get something going.

In Modern Warfare I usually play Domination, Headquarters, and sometimes Team Deathmatch. My k/d ratio is hovering around 1.25. I am starting to see many large clans right now, so I think we could get a pretty good clan going.

True, but I am sure many have either brought out COD4 for extra practice, or never stopped playing in the first place. See the people on top of the leader boards? 100+ days logged, I don't even know how that is possible.

As for 360 owners, who wants to play with a bunch of kids who play rap music over their mics during the entire match. Sorry to tell the truth, but on average there are better players on the Playstation than on the 360 (just because of all the kids).

Is there a list of the different types of play for multiplayer, I doubt WAR (my favorite type of play on W@W) would be on this go around.

Haven't played COD4 as got my ps3 this year and sort of skipped on that and preordered MW2. Guess with everyone already a pro and logged in multiple hours its going to quite intense for new players. Anyways quite exited about this one. :razz:

My overall K/D is 1.30 in COD:WAW... but I went through the first Prestige with like a 0.5.:cheesygri So yeah, I am much improved.

Really my more recent K/D is closer to 1.6, maybe 1.7.

hmm an RFD clan. It's always better to play in a party as you do not get stuck with idiots on your team and there's more incentive to using your microphone. Game isn't out yet, if anyone still plays cod4 to warm up for it lemme know..

Sure, don't see why not.

Having a high k/d ratio does not necessarily tell how good a player is. It obviously does not hurt, but my buddy camps the entire time with a silencer and UAV jammer and his k/d is around 3.0. Heck I have seen him play cage matches where he waits for his opponent to cross him, kills him a few times, then either hides or snipes for the entire game. Not saying it's not effective, but watching it for 10 minutes is as exciting as watching the Canucks play.

I was looking for a thread like this! It's hard to play good TEAM-BASED multiplayer when so many people just want to reenact Rambo, have no headset, or quit if they have a slight disadvantage.

My K/D ratio for an FPS is usually 1.2 - 2.0. For KZ2, it is 1.4.

I have a (good) headset as well.

BTW, I was thinking of creating a thread like this for other PS3 multiplayer games like LBP, GTA 4, Uncharted 2, KZ2 (this one existed but it kind of died), and perhaps MAG when it comes out. This way we'll have a solid friends list of local team-players who actually have headsets (and can use it responsibly!). Should I set one up? I'd hate to waste time on creating one and see it go the way of the previous KZ2 thread.

This will be good. I play all the hardcore online multiplayer games on PS3 and right now really into Uncharted 2.
