Just wondering, its seems kinda hazy right now but will we be able to rip the songs from lego rockband the same way we did for rockband 1 and the track packs to rockband 2?

Renting and then paying teh 10 bucks for the ripping program would be great, hopefully this happens.

:!:Not stealing....There is a transfer license you pay to download songs to your HDD...

From what I've read, it will be $10, instead of Rockband's $5...also unlike rockband 1, each game will have unique code (similar to the track packs) that will only allow a single transfer per LRB disc.>:(

It costs $9 to rent the game at BBV and then another $10 at the PSN store for the priviledge to rip it. It's not that great of a deal unless you really like the songs.

Too bad it's not like the track packs where you just punch in the code and you don't require additional fees.

A question for those who tranferred songs from RB1 to RB2 though... does it actually copy the songs from the RB1 disc? My track packs didn't even look at the discs and forced me to download the data off the PSN store. It seemed like a waste of bandwidth when I had the disc right in front of me.

Yeah that is my understanding as well, guess the trick will be to get the first rental lol. Cause whats the point in ripping songs from a game and paying MORE money to do it when you already own the game?
